The mission
of athletics at Faith is to challenge the student
athlete to glorify God through the talents He has
blessed them with (I Cor. 10:31), to use those talents
as a vehicle for evangelism of the lost, and to strengthen
their spiritiual walk through the disciplines learned
from athletic competition. Student athletes
will be challenged spiritually, physically, and mentally
in a competitive intercollegiate sport's environment
which will strengthen their Christian character and
foster a desire to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt.
28:16-20).
