Graphic Designer

Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is seeking to employ a qualified individual as a full-time graphic designer, starting November 1, 2023. This position will report to the Marketing and Communications Director, and the posting will remain open until filled.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design marketing materials for college, seminary, bookstore, and athletics including (but not limited to) postcards, web banners, digital and print ads, apparel, merchandise, logos, PowerPoints, stationary, event branding, booklets, and posters.
  • Design and manage the yearbook.
  • Create newsletter and magazine design and layouts.
  • Work with print shops and vendors to maintain affordable printing and maintain a relationship.
  •  Work closely with various departments on campus to achieve their marketing goals.
  • Keep the brand consistent and advocate for it across campus.
  • Help manage photography files.
  • Organize and take athletic team photos and individual portraits.
  • Organize and take yearbook photo day photos.
  • Organize and take student group photos.
  • Assist with videography.
  • Occasional coding and updating the website.
  • This position does not supervise anyone but may assist the director in coordinating student schedules, projects, and equipment for any part-time staff.

Academic Qualifications
  • A 2 or 4- year college degree or equivalent is required.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • HTML/CSS experience is a plus.
  • Photography (sports and events)
  • Ability to multitask multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to hit short deadlines.
  • Able to conceptualize and execute design ideas.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Able to take criticism and make requested changes.
  • Adobe Effects/Premiere Pro experience is a plus.
  • Videography experience is a plus.
  • Help to choose finishing details around campus (paint colors, handles, countertops, etc.).
