Student Life Administrative Assistant
FBBC&TS is seeking to employ a qualified individual as a full-time administrative assistant for the student life department. This position reports to the dean of students and the dean of women. This posting will remain open until filled.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in cooperation with the deans.
- Provide helpful and professional correspondence including students, parents, other employees, and those in the community.
- Facilitate daily communication to all students.
- Schedule appointments for the deans as needed.
- Maintain annual student records.
- Manage Student Life Canvas Course.
- Plan and organize student activities (Registration, Orientation, Student Appreciation, and various other activities throughout the year) with input from the deans.
- Keep and organize files for Student Life matters.
- Keep minutes of staff meetings.
- Supervise student attendance for chapel, events, and conferences.
- Monitor Student Life issues of departure process.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Academic Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Previous work experience in people-related ministry.
- Training and some experience in office administration and computer operations required.

- Ability to be very flexible and accept interruptions.
- Strong organizational skills to plan events and coordinate student activities.
