Convictions and Character/Religious Qualifications

FBBC&TS seeks to maintain its theological and ecclesiastical identity as a Baptist institution of higher education. Therefore, we seek only to employ faculty and staff whose beliefs, lifestyle, and convictions align with FBBC&TS’s religious positions. As such, all applicants must meet the following expectations:

  • Applicants must agree without mental reservation with FBBC&TS’s foundational documents.
  • Applicants must be Baptists in their beliefs and practice.
  • Applicants must adhere to Biblical standards of morality and living.
  • Applicants and/or their spouses must not be or ever have been divorced.
  • Applicants must be members of a local Baptist church of like faith and practice.
  • Applicants must be active in Christian service in their local church.

Academic Qualifications
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Previous work experience in people-related ministry.
  • Training and some experience in office administration and computer operations required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to discern and make decisions.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with little oversight or direction.
  • Ability to handle stress.
  • Ability to be very flexible and accept interruptions.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan events and coordinate student activities.
  • Ability to keep confidences.
  • Maintain organized office area.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in distracting environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime hours when needed.
