A Time to Plant
2023 Trees and Landscaping Project
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
Ecclesiastes 3:1–2
Over the last three years, many of Faith’s trees have been taken through wind and disease. During the summer of 2020, a derecho with sustained winds of nearly 100 miles per hour took a major toll on campus vegetation. Following the derecho, trees that remained were damaged, allowing for insect infestation and disease.
The cumulative effects of wind storms and disease have drastically altered the appearance of our campus. As a result, Faith is taking necessary steps to restore the landscape beauty to the 52 acres that God has blessed us with. We have already secured a professional architectural plan along with pricing, which are detailed below.
We are asking for your participation. Donations of all sizes are needed to complete this project. You can donate toward a specific item, or in general. Installation will begin this spring, so your consideration is much appreciated.
