FBBC&TS is seeking to identify a qualified individual for a full-time faculty position to teach English
Composition I and II, Literature, and related communication classes at Faith Baptist Bible College.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned classes in accordance with our policies in the Faculty Handbook including English grammar, Literature, and/or other communications classes.
  • Serve on academic committees.
  • Advise Communication minors.
  • Disciple students as opportunity arises.
  • Recruit mission-fit students to the college.
  • Participates on academic committees.
  • Attends required faculty events.
  • Participates in contractually related obligations.
  • Complies with the academic performance expectations in the Faculty Handbook.

  • Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in strong instructional skills.
  • Applicants should display critical thinking, empathy, and adaptability.

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants should possess at least an accredited Master’s Degree in the related field.
  • Applicants should have skill and experience teaching Education courses, English grammar/writing classes.
  • Some experience in teaching gr. 5-12 language arts is desired (not required)
  • Some experience in Speech and/or Drama is desired (not required)
  • Some experience in teaching geography is desired (not required)
