This position is responsible for all aspects of initiating and maintaining transactions, records, and communication for student accounts in a knowledgeable, effective manner that keeps outstanding receivables at a minimum level.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Review and update charges on students’ accounts in the student information system
Coordinate with Financial Aid Director on timing of posting of financial aid disbursements
Provide and support Accounting Manager with daily and monthly reporting
Batch invoicing of student accounts
Receipting and posting student account remittances – both cash/check and online
Counsel and assist students and parents on the payment options and process – understanding their registration charges
Help students create plans to pay for school and be financially prepared
Understand the financial aid and student account processes to answer student questions or direct them to content experts
Manage and monitor student payment plans throughout the year and provide communication efforts for delinquent accounts
Backup support to receptionist for responding to phone calls and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner

Academic Qualifications
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required for this position.
At least two years of education or experience in a business-related field is preferred, with preference given to accounting, financial aid, or customer service.
