Students Are Back on Campus!
It’s great to have students back on campus! Our residence halls are full, and we are raising funds to build a new one, trusting the Lord that it will be ready for occupancy next year. Our fall athletic teams are in full swing. The Chamber Choir sang the National Anthem at an Iowa Cubs baseball game. And we’ve partnered with an accredited college of health sciences in Des Moines to add a Nursing degree to our academic programs. Students are learning in their classes and enjoying time together outside of class. But more important than the programs, activities, and number of students is their spiritual growth.
Mark Davis, Vice President of Enrollment & Student Life said, “We are so thankful for what God is doing here on campus. . . . It’s a privilege to be able to interact with [students] on a daily basis and already see how campus life is helping them along in their walk with Christ.” Sandy Capon, our Dean of Women, said, “Something more exciting than the uptick in enrollment this fall, is the privilege of seeing the joy and peace in a student’s eyes after asking Christ to save her!”
Our theme for the 2024/25 school year is taken from Psalm 78:70-72 and is Leadership: Pure Heart. Skilled Hands. Join us in praising the Lord for what He is doing on our campus and praying for our students as they prepare to take the Word to the world.
