Three Eagles Coaches Named “Coach of the Year”
Faith Baptist Bible College is celebrating an exciting achievement—three of our Eagles coaches have been named NCCAA DII Regional Coach of the Year in their respective sports!
This year, Lanny Nihart (Women’s Volleyball), Zach Barron (Women’s Soccer), and Gary Backous (Men’s Soccer) each earned this distinguished honor. While all three coaches have won the award before, this is the first time that they have received it in the same season.
Their leadership goes far beyond wins and records. Each coach has demonstrated exceptional commitment to developing athletes who excel not only on the court or field, but also in character, spiritual growth, and Gospel-centered living.
At a time when college athletics is more competitive than ever, Faith continues to strengthen its athletic programs without sacrificing its focus on discipleship. Our coaches are proving that integrity and athletic excellence can thrive together.
