Bible Translation Module
Bible translation is the ultimate exegesis. One of the greatest gifts you can give your church is a faithful translation of God’s Word.
Our Bible Translation course acquaints students with the history, theory, and practice of Bible translation. Throughout the course, students engage in hands-on translation practices, discuss common challenges, and learn the foundational structures of the Bible translation process.
This class is designed both for those pursuing vocational Bible translation and for church members who simply want a deeper understanding of how translation works.
Pastors, in particular, encounter questions like these all the time: Why does my Bible say this? Why does another translation say it differently? How can I trust the Bible if the wording varies? This course equips pastors to confidently and clearly address those concerns.
Whether you feel called to Bible translation or simply want to better understand why translations differ, this class is for you.
Together, we’ll explore the nuts and bolts of Bible translation—carefully examining translations, breaking them down, and explaining how Scripture is faithfully rendered into living languages
