For nearly three decades, Mary Lynn Moore has been a steady and caring presence at Faith—often behind the scenes, but always making a difference.
After 28 years of faithful service, Mary Lynn is stepping into retirement, leaving a legacy marked not only by excellence in her work, but by a genuine love for people.
Mary Lynn began her time at Faith in 1998, moving into a full-time role in 1999 as Human Resources Coordinator. Over the years, she also assisted with international student processes and worked closely with departments across campus to support both employees and student workers.
While her role required attention to detail and consistency, it was the relationships that made her work especially meaningful. She enjoyed the opportunity to get to know new employees and student workers through onboarding.
But Mary Lynn’s service didn’t stop at her job description.
She was often one of the first to step in when there was a need—signing up to bring meals to people, preparing treats for students, or celebrating office birthdays. For many years, she faithfully organized “Sunday Sundaes” during Orientation Weekend, giving students a simple but meaningful way to connect and feel at home.
She also cherishes the relationships built over time—celebrating birthdays, serving alongside fellow believers, and even seeing alumni she once knew return years later as parents, bringing their own children to Faith.
Through it all, Mary Lynn has exemplified a servant heart attitude with her consistent care for others.
As she reflects on her years at Faith, her encouragement is simple: “Stay committed to your job and work for many years.”
Thank you, Mary Lynn, for your investment in our staff, faculty, and students!
