About the Position

The Admissions Department of Faith Baptist Bible College, exists to recruit mission-fit students. This role accomplishes this mission, by primarily, providing support to prospective students and their parents; answering questions, and assisting them through the Admissions process (Inquiry, Application, Acceptance, and Deposit).

Expected hours:
This position must maintain daily office hours approved by the Director of Admissions, and observe workdays as outlined in the staff handbook, except for events which will require an adjusted work schedule. A standard week will have 10-15 hours with possible overtime based upon event needs.

Confidential Information: 

This position has a fairly high access to confidential information.  A background check is required before placing a person in this position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • This position must maintain office hours that coincide with the student’s school schedule, and observe work days as outlined in the staff handbook. Admissions related events will require an adjusted work schedule.
  • Assist the Director of Admissions and Event Coordinator on a daily basis.
  • Event Help as needed for any admissions events and recruiting events
  • Assist the Admissions Department in administrative needs.
  • Other activities/appointments that would take you away from the office such as work for other employment outside of FBBC, or helping other departments need to be requested and approved by the Director of Admissions
  • A time-frame of at least one week for requesting time off

Convictions and Character/Religious Qualifications

  • Applicants must agree without mental reservation with FBBC&TS’s foundational documents.
  • Applicants must be Baptists in their beliefs and practice.
  • Applicants must adhere to Biblical standards of morality and living.
  • Applicants and/or their spouses must not be or ever have been divorced.

  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge
  • Ability to clearly communicate in a timely manner
  • Customer service experience preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Paid or volunteer event planning experience required.
  • A 2 or 4- year college degree or equivalent
