Faith Baptist Bible College and ACA Agree to Preschool Rental Space

ANKENY, Iowa—Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary has entered an agreement to rent space to Ankeny Christian Academy (ACA) for their preschool program beginning August 2023.

ACA’s continued growth in enrollment accelerated their need for additional space, which is the driving force behind the arrangement with Faith. The close proximity of Faith’s campus to Ankeny Christian Academy made the location an attractive option to ACA school officials.

The new preschool space will be located on the east end of Faith’s maintenance building. FBBC&TS administrators have worked closely with a local architect and with the City of Ankeny to develop a plan to meet codes and needs for the facility. Renovation work is already underway in order to meet the tight August deadline.

The master plan to convert part of the maintenance building into preschool space involves the construction of two new garages west of Benson Hall. Faith President Dr. Jim Tillotson has made a plea to local volunteers to participate in a two-day “Garage-Raising” on May 12-13, with a goal to build two garages in two days.
