Monday was a warm and breezy day in Ankeny, Iowa, with winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour, but that didn’t stop an entire campus of eager servant-leaders from rolling up their sleeves for Campus Cleanup Day.

Students enjoyed a short day of classes and then joined staff and faculty members who served as “crew leaders” in 15 different areas of responsibility. The purpose of the day was to do some deep cleaning to make our grounds look great for all of our upcoming activities and extra visitors we will have on campus this spring.

Some of the areas students helped with included sod replacement, window washing, picking up branches, cleaning flower beds, picking up debris, brush removal, and cleaning Crown Park and the sand volleyball courts.

Students, staff, and faculty all showed great comradery and spirit as we all came together and worked hard to help take care of the beautiful campus God has blessed us with as we celebrate 100 years as an institution.
