Faith Welcomes Alice Bunjer as Alumni Coordinator

Faith is excited to welcome Alice (Ford ’83) Bunjer as the new Alumni Coordinator starting in July 2018.

The October following her graduation from Faith, Alice married fellow alumnus, Jeff Bunjer (’81) in 1983. They left for Germany as short-term missionaries in May 1984.  After one year, they returned to the States to join Baptist Mid-Missions as full-time missionaries. Alice and Jeff served as church planters in southern Germany at the Maranatha Freie Baptisten Gemeinde (Maranatha Baptist Church) in Bad Heilbrunn, Germany until August 2001.

The Lord changed the Bunjer’s ministry in 2001 to serve at Olivet Baptist Church and Shawnee Mission Christian School, Westwood, KS.  Alice taught Kindergarten in the school for 6 years and was part-time secretary for the church. She then moved into the school office and worked as the Office Manager until the present. In her free time, Alice enjoys running, gardening and spending time with her family.

Alice and Jeff have remained connected to Faith over the years and have three grown children, all who also attended Faith: Jonathan Bunjer (’07), Laura (Bunjer ’08-’10) Hawks, and Natalie (Bunjer ’14) Kurfman.

Alice has always enjoyed serving others. She is looking forward to being a part of Faith, and re-connecting with former classmates, as well as meeting the newer graduates and present students.
