Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is pleased to formally announce the selection of Jared Baldwin as the new chair of the Organizational Leadership program, funded by the Love Foundation. The Organizational Leadership program, which will begin this fall, is designed to prepare graduates for roles in leadership positions in churches, camps, schools, and businesses.

Baldwin has been an ordained pastor since 2002 and has spent the last 15 years at Harvest Ministries in Guam, where he and his family have served in a number of roles within the church, Bible Academy, and college there. He and his wife, Tammy, are originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and have been married for over 27 years. Tammy will also be joining the staff at Faith as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Enrollment.

Pastor Baldwin will be an invaluable addition to the Faith faculty and a perfect fit for the new Organizational Leadership program, bringing a unique blend of experience from ministry, the military, and the secular business realm.

He spent nearly ten years in the United States Air Force with the rank of Senior Airman and Staff Sergeant.  While enlisted, he became an instructor at the Airman Leadership School for two years, teaching classes on effective communication and public speaking. Baldwin also received leadership training through a variety of programs like Training the Trainer, Total Quality Management, and Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Pastor Baldwin has held numerous roles in the church as executive pastor, senior pastor, associate pastor, administrative council, and missions director. In the unique role of executive pastor, Baldwin taught, counseled, led missions trips, and helped oversee the budget, while also doing preaching and discipling.

Rounding out his qualifications, Pastor Baldwin will bring a plethora of experience from the business world as well. While at Northland Baptist Bible College, he worked in the public relations department as a front desk supervisor and special events host. He also has sales experience as a sales rep with Automated Data Processing, and managerial experience as the general manager of Dedicated Services Incorporated, where he was in charge of hiring, training, recruiting, and managing finances.

In his “spare time,” Pastor Baldwin has been the host of a weekly, live, two-hour radio talk program since 2013 on Harvest Family Radio and enjoys refereeing soccer.

“I love the training and discipleship of young adults in the area of effective servant leadership,” said Pastor Baldwin. “When I was a young man, in the Air Force, Bible College, and the business world, I was shaped by some extraordinary leaders. I believe those mentors helped set me on a path for being a better servant leader inside and outside of the church. My desire for the Organizational Leadership program at Faith is to help train and mentor young leaders for future effectiveness.”
