As the school year comes to a conclusion, Faith’s Summer Ministry Teams (Team Impact and Contenders) are gearing up to serve this summer through camp ministry. These teams officially represent Faith as they engage with campers and invest into their lives through God’s Word.

This year’s Team Impact members are Demi DelPrior, Seth Freeman, Dori Linscott, and Cade Sanders. The 2023 Contenders are Josiah Anderson, Grant Brower, Hope Christensen, Abigail Farver, Jay Froah, and Sadie Long. Team members have been faithfully training during the past semester.

The Contenders’ season begins May 30 at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp (IRBC). They will spend a total of 11 weeks at IRBC serving alongside the full-time staff, facilitating personal connections, and immersing themselves into the behind-the-scenes endeavors that are not always glamorous, but are critical functions of youth and family camp ministry. They will also invest in the students’ lives through engaging activities, skits, and meaningful conversations.

Team Impact’s season will begin at Faith Baptist Bible College, where they will help out with Faith’s various summer camps such as Jump Start, Sports Camp, and Next Steps You. From there, they will begin traveling across the Midwest to Camp Fairwood (WI), Whispering Cedars (NE), and Bass Lake Camp (MN). Team Impact’s members are eager to enhance the camp experience through their service while helping to facilitate spiritual growth. This will mainly be done through leading activities, counseling, and interacting with campers.

The members of both teams are eagerly looking forward to serving this summer. They have been praying that God would use them to be a light of the gospel in a way that leads others to Christ. Please pray with them as they minister this summer.
