About the Position

Our Admissions team at Faith Baptist Bible College is looking for a few full-time Admissions Counselor positions starting this coming Summer. We are updating the way we handle recruiting and our travel teams. This specific role includes part-time travel (approximately 50%), but it is not a full-time travel role—allowing for consistency, balance, and strong team connection while still engaging in outreach and recruiting.

PRIVILEGES AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Travel, food and lodging will be paid for by Faith while they are traveling on our behalf.
Will report to Jessi Fowler on a Monthly basis to provide information of churches or schools that were visited.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for nurturing 75+ applicants each year via texts, emails, and phone calls through the admissions process. This position will also require recruiting and a high level of customer service to assist potential students and applicants. In addition to this main responsibility, this position will assist with Faith events as needed. This position will also include 50% travel representing Faith at Churches, schools, and conferences.

  1. Connect with potential students, parents, and other ministry leaders.
  2. Traveling to churches, schools, and conferences and meeting with pastors/administrators as needed
  3. Engage with campus guests.
  4. Help with admissions-related events.
  5. Organizing inquiry cards & contact information of students, pastors, and parents
  6. Regular communication via emails, notes, texts, phone calls, etc.
  7. Respond to questions in a promptly (within the hour or the next AM as needed).
  8. Admissions counselors can expect to take calls/texts & answer them beyond regular office hours. The counselor would clock in and out outside of work hours to respond in a timely manner.

Convictions and Character/Religious Qualifications

  • Applicants must agree without mental reservation with FBBC&TS’s foundational documents.
  • Applicants must be Baptists in their beliefs and practice.
  • Applicants must adhere to Biblical standards of morality and living.
  • Applicants and/or their spouses must not be or ever have been divorced.

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge
  • Ability to clearly communicate with student recruits in a timely manner.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • No previous experience required.
  • A 2 or 4- year college degree or equivalent
