Biblical Studies with a Full Year Study Abroad Program
Interested in studying abroad? The Arriba program is transitioning from Peru to Chile, with the appointment of James Morsey as Arriba’s new director. This program will restart in the 2023-2024 academic year in its new base in Chile.
James and Coletta Morsey are excited to invest in young people. Students in this program will study in Chile, earning 30 or more credits while learning Spanish and gaining practical ministry experience. These students will live with host families and serve in the Chilean churches during their stay there.

Program Objectives
Each student will:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Bible
- Evidence a thorough knowledge of the overall system of truth set forth in the Bible
- Model heightened interpretive skill in independent Bible study and exposition
- Defend a Bible-based system of faith
- Explain Baptist heritage and fundamentalism
- Develop growing Christian maturity
- Gain the ability to relate with and appreciate people from other cultures and religions
- Develop strong language and cross-cultural communication skills
