2019 Contenders

The 2019 Contenders are ready to roll for another great summer of ministry at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Clear Lake, Iowa, from June 3-August 16, 2019!
This year’s team (pictured left to right) from Faith Baptist Bible College consists of one returnee from last year’s Contenders (Sawyer Gogerty), and five new faces: Carsen Hansen, Molleigh Adams-Freund, Jenna Toomey, Anna Chung, and Jacob Stilwell.
The team was chosen in December and has spent the last several months learning skits, attending training sessions on counseling and lesson preparation, and doing team-building activities. One of the group’s favorite skits, according to team leader Sawyer Gogerty, is a humorous act called “Real-Life Hangman.”
The group begins the camping season with Special Camp on June 10 and ends the summer with Family Camp #5, August 10-16.
