October 1, 2021

Faith Baptist Bible College celebrated its 100th birthday on Tuesday, September 28, with an extended chapel service, an all-campus aerial photo, and a time of refreshments. Now, the countdown is on for the Celebration of the Century, which will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, during Faith’s Homecoming Weekend.

The extended weather forecast is looking great, and the trees on campus should be close to their peak fall colors for the celebratory event, which the school hopes will bring throngs of alumni and friends to central campus for an afternoon and evening of fun, food, fellowship, and fireworks. Here are all the important details to note for the Celebration of the Century:

Side streets are also options, and the parking lot at Ankeny Christian Academy (two blocks south of campus) will be available after 4 p.m. There will be parking attendants on campus to assist with parking from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Food Trucks

We will have 8 food trucks on location. They will be located in the Patten Library parking lot, and there will be covered tents for people to eat under in our “food court” area. Here are the food vendors that will be on hand:

There will be plenty of fun for the kids! We have reserved two inflatables (a 15×15 castle bounce house, and a 45′ mega obstacle course) that will be in operation from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on October 8. They will be located in the grassy area to the north of Patten Library.
