Congressman David Young Scheduled To Visit Campus 9/11

Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is excited to welcome Congressman David Young to campus on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Congressman Young will be the featured speaker at a special assembly in the Nettleton Center gymnasium at 9:00 a.m. He is the U.S. Representative for the Third District of Iowa and a native of Van Meter. Young assumed office on January 3, 2015, after serving as Chief of Staff for Senator Chuck Grassley for eight years.

Polk County is one of the 16 counties in Young’s Third Congressional District. Congressman Young makes it a priority to visit each of those counties at least once per month, with the purpose of staying in touch with voters and listening to the concerns of Iowans.

Following the assembly, there will be a meet-and-greet with Congressman Young. Anyone is welcome to attend.
