Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary announced Tuesday evening the hiring of Dr. Marty Herron as executive vice president beginning this fall.

Dr. Herron brings many years of ministry experience to Faith. He has served as senior pastor of Harvest Baptist Church in Barrigada, Guam since 2000—a thriving, multi-faceted ministry including a Bible college, a Christian academy, and a radio station. Before moving to Guam, Dr. Herron and his wife, Tami, served at Northland Baptist Bible College for 18 years, where he served as Dean of Students and later as Vice President of Student Affairs. While at the college, he served as the director of Northland Camp and Conference Center. Tami taught several classes in the college and served as a women’s counselor.

Dr. Herron is a graduate of Bob Jones University (B.A., L.H.D.) and the WILDS Camp Director Institute. He and Tami have four grown children and ten grandchildren. He is an avid reader of theology, history, and biographies; and he enjoys an occasional round of golf. He is passionate about the discipleship of leaders and global missions, and we look forward to the ministry he and Tami will have at Faith.
