Faith Named to an Elite List of Best Colleges in America

ANKENY, Iowa—Faith Baptist Bible College has been named the “Best Total Package College in Iowa” by Zippia, one of the top career information websites in the world based in San Francisco, California.

Faith joined an elite list of schools including Princeton, Harvard, Dartmouth, and the University of California-Berkeley as The Best Total Package College in Each State in America, a ranking compiled by Zippia which tabulates factors of acceptance rates, SAT scores, cost, debt, job prospects, career earnings, diversity, and the town the institution is located in to determine its overall score.

Zippia also used College Scorecard Data from the Department of Education to determine its rankings. The final Zippia list is one of the few in America that considers after-graduation statistics in its overall score.

There has been a lot to be excited about at Faith recently!

In April, Faith was selected as one of the Top 100 Best Colleges for the Money in the United States, coming in at #88 nationally, which ranked in the top ten percent in the nation for value.

In May, Faith senior discus thrower Jacob Kirkwood won the national championship at the NCCAA Men’s Track and Field National Championships in Winona Lake, Indiana. He was also the recipient of the Wheeler Award, an award given annually to one male and one female track athlete for their performance in track and field and their Christ-like character outside of track.

This summer, Faith will be remodeling its gymnasium, giving the Eagles basketball and volleyball teams an entirely new gym floor to perform on, and a fresh, new look throughout. Right down the hallway from the gymnasium is the weight room, which underwent a major renovation of its own last summer.

In August, Faith will launch its new Organizational Leadership program with a brand-new four year Bachelor of Science degree that trains students in a servant-leadership model and emphasizes a Biblical approach to executive leadership.
