ANKENY, Iowa—With the Word to the World. Five Faith students are completing the second half of their student teaching this spring—some right here in Iowa, one as far away as Maryland in the United States, and one across seas on the island of Guam.

Dr. Mark Stupka introduced each of this year’s student teachers at Thursday morning’s chapel session and had a special moment of prayer for them as they prepare to leave for their second phase of student teaching.

“The students complete 14 weeks of student teaching,” said Dr. Stupka. “The first seven weeks are typically in the Des Moines area. During the second seven weeks, student teachers are placed in locations related to God’s leading in their lives. Because of this, students are placed in various locations in the United States and around the world, including Guam, Peru, Portugal, Saipan, Hawaii, and South Africa.”
