The 10th Annual Refresh Conference at Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary took place from February 4 to 7, 2025, under the theme “Leadership: Pure Heart. Skilled Hands.” This event was designed to provide pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders, along with their spouses, a time of spiritual rejuvenation and fellowship.
The conference featured a series of general sessions and workshops led by a variety of speakers, including Dr. Jim Tillotson, Dr. Dean Taylor, Dr. Daniel Davey, Dr. Les Ollila, and Dr. Dennis Wilkening. Each session provided the opportunity to encourage attendees and remind them of their ministry focus with practical insights for effective ministry leadership.
In addition to the sessions, the conference schedule was arranged to allow participants to have time to rest and network with other ministry leaders. Attendees had opportunities to explore the campus, speak with exhibitors, and enjoy meals together, all with the purpose of developing community among like-minded servants of Christ. Special events, such as professional photography sessions and alumni receptions for Northland, Pillsbury, and Faith, provided further avenues for networking and encouragement.
The conference concluded with impactful messages from Dr. Douglas Brown and Dr. Dennis Wilkening, leaving attendees with renewed focus and practical tools to implement in their respective ministries. The emphasis on cultivating both purity of heart and skilled hands resonated deeply, aligning with the conference’s foundational theme drawn from Psalm 78:70-72.
