From 1993 to 1997, Trainer was the lead pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church in Rochester, Minnesota.
He also has more than 15 years of experience in Christian higher education as a teacher and an administrator. He served as Dean of Men at Clearwater Christian College (2003-2005), Executive Vice President at Faith Baptist Bible College (2005-2006), Dean of the School of Theology and Cross-Cultural Studies at Maranatha Baptist University (2006-2015), and Dean and Chief Operating Officer at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary (2015-2017).
Over his many years of ministry, Trainer has traveled to 40 different countries, leading cross-cultural immersion teams and teaching pastoral students abroad in urban and rural settings.
We look forward to welcoming Brian and his wife, Sherry, back to campus this summer.
