The Board of Directors for Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary has approved the naming of the new office and music building. The building will be named Domokos Hall in honor of Dr. Robert Domokos.

The initial announcement was made during chapel on Monday, November 19, by President Tillotson to hundreds of Faith students, staff, and faculty that were in attendance. Dr. Domokos was also present for the announcement.

“Doctor Bob,” as he is affectionately known around campus and amongst local churches, has faithfully served at Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary for 44 years—mostly as a faculty member and former president. Even in his retirement, Dr. Bob can still be found serving enthusiastically on the Faith campus, mowing lawns, doing maintenance activities, and interacting with students, faculty, and staff.

Dr. Domokos served as president at Faith from 1988-1993 and was the head of the Pastoral Training Department for decades. He was also the voice of Faith Eagles basketball and has served in many other capacities during his 44 years. As an interim pastor on more than 30 occasions, his ministry beyond Faith’s campus has touched the lives of thousands.

Domokos Hall will be the new home to twenty staff and faculty offices, Information Technology, and the Music Department. It will feature eight sound-proof music practice rooms, a large conference room, two waiting areas, and a covered outdoor patio. An official dedication date will be announced at a later time.
