Mrs. Mary Jo Brown’s seventh year of teaching at Faith will be her last as she has announced her retirement at the conclusion of the 2018-19 school year.

Mrs. Brown has held numerous roles at Faith including Elementary Education Director, HLC Committee Chair, Refresh Conference Childcare Director, Faculty Secretary, and Faith Women’s Fellowship Coordinator.

Some of Mrs. Brown’s favorite memories include general recitals, ice cream socials, and working with students throughout various conferences on campus.

In her retirement, Mrs. Brown plans to spend more time with her four married daughters and ten grandchildren. She also looks forward to being involved with women’s ministries at her local church.

“I have loved the opportunity to teach at Faith and work with others that love the Lord,” said Mrs. Brown. “I have enjoyed working with students and seeing their growth as they emerge into godly teachers.  It is a joy to see them in the classroom as student teachers.  They change from students to teachers!”
