November 4, 2021

Around one dozen Faith students and faculty members braved the cold temperatures Wednesday morning, November 3, 2021, at 6:15 a.m. to kick off a day of campus-wide prayer.

Professor Jared Baldwin organized a pre-sunrise meeting at the campus flagpole where the group prayed for leaders at the local, state, and national levels, this on the heels of the November 2 elections. The group sang three songs and concluded the time of prayer with donuts and coffee in the warmth of Domokos Hall.

Dr. Jim Tillotson led the morning chapel hour through James 4, verses 1-10, focusing on the topic of prayer. Throughout the day, students and faculty began the first five minutes of each class session with a word of prayer.

This was the first of two dedicated Days of Prayer for the 2021-22 academic year. The second is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
