A large incoming class pushed Faith Baptist Bible College’s enrollment to its highest number in over a decade.

FBBC added 161 total new students this fall, filling the dorms to capacity and forcing the conversion of some Faith-owned apartments into student living space. The growing pains are a welcome challenge for Faith’s administration.

“We are so thankful for the large incoming class,” said Vice President of Enrollment Mark Davis. “Not only are we thankful for the number of students, but more importantly, the quality of students that are making Faith Baptist Bible College their home.”

Faith’s motto is “With the Word to the World,” and the demographics of incoming students reflect that. The 161 new students come from 27 different states and three foreign countries (Canada, India, and Thailand). The total enrollment at Faith includes students from 33 different states and 11 foreign countries.

The reasons for Faith’s growth are numerous. Some of the biggest factors include affordability, trust, and a culture of discipleship on campus. FBBC was recently named one of the most affordable Christian colleges in America. On September 28, 2022, Faith will turn 101 years old, making it one of the oldest Bible colleges in the United States. Faith still stands on the Biblical principles it was founded upon in 1921, and has been a place students and parents trust to provide a solid, Biblical foundation for career and ministry for more than a century.

“I think the biggest reason for growth is the aspect of discipleship,” said Admissions Representative Tyler Carson. “The professors, the students, and the faculty all try to get to know each other. There is a relationship. There is a bond. People are checking up on you and asking how you are doing. We just sit down and talk about life. People care about you as a person. You’re not just a number here.”

Faith Baptist Bible College is in a growth mindset. If you would like to be a part of a thriving campus and all of the excitement that is happening at Faith, applications are currently being accepted for 2023-24. Apply online or make an appointment to visit campus at faith.edu.
