Tyler Hausner Selected as New Dining Services Director at Faith

Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary is pleased to announce Tyler Hausner as Director of Dining Services. Tyler will fill the shoes of Terry Waltersdorf, who is retiring from a full-time capacity this May but plans to remain on the dining services team in a different role.
Hausner studied at Faith and is acquiring his Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Bellevue University. He and his wife Rachel (Howieson ’15) were married in 2018 and have an eight-month-old daughter, Adaline. Tyler has been employed in the food preparation industry with Hy-Vee since 2013, the last six years as a food preparation specialist at the Hy-Vee Ron Pearson Center in West Des Moines.
Tyler brings a good mix of experience and skills from a fast-paced, customer-focused environment that will serve him well. He begins his new journey in a few short weeks and is excited to learn under Mr. Waltersdorf, who is completing his 37th year at Faith this spring.
“I am looking forward to working with and learning from Terry as I transition into this position,” said Tyler. “We are excited to join the Faith family and get to know and work alongside the students.”
