Master of Education Director
FBBC&TS is seeking to employ a qualified individual for a full or part-time faculty position to direct the new Master of Education Program at Faith Baptist Bible College beginning in the Fall of 2024
Reports to:
Dr. Mark Stupka, Teacher Education Program Chair and Dr. Ken Rathbun, Vice President for Academics, Dean of the College
Supervises:
- Adjunct professors in this graduate program
- Graduate students in the program – also serves as a mentor and advisor to them
Job Goals:
- Develop the Master of Education Program to its highest potential.
- Assist with the recruitment of highly qualified adjunct professors.
- Recruit high caliber, mission-fit students for the program.
- Meet assessment outcomes established by the academic dean.
Responsibilities:
- Director of the Master of Education program at FBBC
- Construct and develop classes to match the Program Learning Outcomes
- Teach some of the Master of Education classes at FBBC
- Recruit and train adjunct professors in the program
- Mentor students in the program
Indicators of Effectiveness/Expectations:
- Participates in academic committees.
- Attends required faculty events.
- Participates in all program chair responsibilities.
- Participates in contractually related obligations.
- Complies with the Faculty Handbook.
