One of the aspects we love most about Faith is our safe location. Ankeny’s total crime rate is 44% lower than the national average, and the violent crime rate is 57% lower than the national average. We take the health and safety of our students very seriously at Faith. We understand that parents across the world are placing their children into our care.

Here are some of the ways we take care of our students:

  • Routine safety patrols
  • An emergency notification system that notifies students, staff, and faculty through text messaging
  • Newly installed card-required entry to residence halls and campus buildings
  • Full-time Registered Nurse on staff
  • Newly renovated fitness center

Campus Safety and Security Survey
The Faith Security Department is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members of the Faith community. The annual Security Compliance document is available by clicking here. You may get a printed copy at the Security/Maintenance Building, 1900 NW Fourth St., Building 14-Door 3, or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling 515-964-0601. The document contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as crime prevention, college enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, and disciplinary procedures. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Faith; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. In addition, a daily crime log is maintained in the Security Office. This information is required by law and is provided by the Faith Security Department.

Fitness Center

Faith is blessed with a state-of-the-art fitness center. The newly designed area was strategically planned to train up to 25 athletes at once, allowing for optimal ability to do clinics, sports camps, and skill development for entire teams.

Some of the equipment available for all students and athletes includes:

  • New squat racks
  • Bumper plate weights that allow for Olympic-style weightlifting
  • Medicine balls of all sizes
  • Tension bands that will help with speed and agility
  • Exercise bikes
  • Treadmills
