Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary welcomes Brandon Fritz of Williamsburg, Iowa, to full-time faculty and staff effective July 1, 2017. Brandon will be the head women’s soccer coach and a science professor in the college.

Fritz has taught as a secondary science educator in the Williamsburg Community Schools since 2000, as well as served as a mentor teacher for developing new teachers. While teaching, he has been involved with the strength and conditioning programs of basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams. The National Association of Geoscience Teachers named Brandon as the Regional Earth Science Teacher of the Year for Iowa. He has also developed and implemented a leadership development curriculum.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science Education degree from the University of Iowa, a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, and a Master of Science degree in Science Education from Montana State University.

Brandon and his wife, Natalie, serve at Harvest Baptist Church in Williamsburg, where they have been members since the church began in 2001. They serve as youth leaders, Sunday school teachers, and Bible study coordinators; Brandon is also a deacon. Brandon and Natalie have eight children—Karina, Kierstan, Eliana, Mirelli, Silas, Tyrza, Titus, and Apollos. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys reading, weightlifting, basketball, playing games with his children, and monthly date nights with his wife.

Brandon is excited for the ministry opportunities that await him at Faith. He loves to mentor and disciple young people, an opportunity he looks forward to both on the field and in the classroom. He also loves sharing how science defends the book of Genesis and the opportunity to speak truth openly in the classroom.
