Faith Baptist Bible College is pleased to welcome Dr. Kraig Keck as its full-time Biblical Counseling Professor. Dr. Keck will be replacing Dr. Jeff Newman, who is making a ministry change to Baptist Mid-Missions this summer.

Dr. Keck has been the Lead Pastor at Chisago Lakes Baptist Church in Chisago City, Minnesota, since 2009. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Pastor at Beth Eden Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, Colorado for seven years, as Editor for Positive Action for Christ for six years, and as Program Coordinator for Northland Camp and Conference Center for five years. Dr. Keck holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Westminster Theological Seminary (’16), a Master of Divinity from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (’96), and a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Northland Baptist Bible College (’90).

Dr. Keck has been an adjunct faculty member at Central Baptist Theological Seminary since 2017, where he taught Foundations of Biblical Counseling and Counseling Victims and Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse.

Dr. Keck will begin his teaching duties at Faith this fall. He and his wife Laura are approaching their 28th wedding anniversary. They have four children: Justin (25), Jessica (24), Riley (21), and Kaylee (19).
